My house smells heavenly at the moment. Homemade Honey Rolls have 12 minutes left in the oven, and make me feel like I’m living a dream. I also baked homemade cinnamon rolls that came out a bit ago, actually had to send my husband to the store to get more flour as I was running out already 🙂 (and for those interested, will post the recipes in a bit) 🙂 Homemade pasta salad and macaroni and cheese to be made shortly, we’re visiting some friends today and barbeque to enjoy this gorgeous NC weather we’re experiencing. My children very much want to be involved when baking is happening. Especially when it comes to kneading dough. It’s “cool” to them. Heck, it’s cool to me too! This particular recipe, though, was messy. We’re not actually supposed to knead it, but I’m an old fashioned cook, I like my hands in my food to ensure it’s thoroughly mixed. I’m teaching my children to do the same.
Meanwhile, I’ve been fiddling with my layout. Whatcha think? 🙂
