When a Spatula becomes a Weapon of Mass Evacuation

I think I might’ve mentioned this before, but I’m ridiculously addicted to Mac n Cheese. Particularly since they’ve come out with Organic Mac N Cheese, like the ever popular Kraft , Annie’s and Amy’s. I find myself looking forward to lunch everyday, although I can only imagine eating this everyday with my kids has got to be boring for them. Oh who am I kidding, I must be the coolest mom ever to eat this stuff everyday and force my kids to do the same ! *cough* *grin*

Anyway, so amidst my lunch preparation I realize my drainer thingy is stuck in my potholder drawer. I can’t get it open even an inch to try to push it down to get it out. So I look up to my tool spinny thingy (can you tell I used to sell Pampered Chef? lol) and find a plastic spatula, just small enough to get in there. I get my MacGyver gameface on, roll up my sleeves and get to it. *cue Mission Impossible music* Lo and behold, after a few jiggles, I can open the drawer enough to push it down, and have freed the wayward drainer thingy to be able to strain the water from my coveted mac n cheese fixation, uh, I mean lunch 🙂

Ah, mission accomplished, bellies are all full, and all is well once more.
