Observation 1 – April showers bring more rain. Seriously. Flowers, sure, but wowza has it been a rainy rainy April. They claim we’re still in a water shortage. I’m unclear how that’s possible. It hasn’t rained in a day or two and my backyard is SOGGY. Ick.
Observation 2 – My 1 year old likes strollers. She climbs in and out of hers, and now that we got her a doll umbrella stroller, she is fixated on it. Climbs in it and lets her brothers wheel her around in it. It’s her new obsession.
Observation 3 – Organic mac n cheese, no matter what kind, is tasty, but will stain clothing. I have resorted to stripping my 1 year old naked each time I serve it. I’m unclear what’s going on and why it won’t wash out, but it leaves stains, and with her cutey patootie pink clothes, that makes me sad 🙁
Observation 4 – Paving equipment makes your house shake. The roller thingamabob is vibrating my house as they put the 2nd coat of pavement down on our street. The dishes in the cabinets are rattling, the pictures on walls are chattering, heck even my milk makers are dancing. I was unaware of the need to make the block shake to get the pavement into place :-S
This Thursday, I am thankful that today is a beautiful, sunny, warm day, and we are going to enjoy a lovely cookout at the elementary school later in this glorious weather. Much to do to get ready for it.
