Valentines Day is fastly approaching! If you haven’t already gone out and gotten something for your that man of yours yet, don’t worry, you’ve still got time, and *cue superhero music* I’m here to save the day!! *cough* Alright fine, I’m not. Just sayin’.
Here’s a couple things you might want to consider if you’re stuck.
Cologne
– Always a winning choice (at least for me it is). Does he need another bottle of his favorite, or perhaps does he want to try something new? Try Emporio Armani Diamonds for Men. Ho-ly cow, people! I picked up a copy of Rolling Stone magazine and immediately smelled the sample on the inside. Flung it open like a possessed maniac and wowzers. I mean, really, I couldn’t put it on my husband fast enough to ensure it rocked on him as much as it did in the sample. It did. Consider it bought.
Gadgets – Is he a tech-type of guy, with gadgets for his gadgets? You’ve probably heard good things about Amazon’s Kindle
, have you considered getting it for you him? *cough* What about a schnazzy navigation system to ensure thou-who-shall-not-ask-for-directions never get lost again? Or maybe a handheld organizer to ensure he never forgets your birthday any appointments? Or if those aren’t the ticket, maybe the new iPhone is more your his thing? All are overwhelmingly cool and potentially foot-rubs-for-a-year worthy gifts.
Grooming Kit -Guys always need grooming supplies, whether it be razors, clippers and the like, to ensure they continue to bring their sexy back. Try the Philips Norelco G480 All-in-One Premium Grooming Kit

(shown to the right) or if he’s old-school, create his own gift basket with all his favorites, like back up razor blades for his razor, his shaving cream, a new shaving brush, etc.
Beer – (I know, don’t hurl things at the computer screen at me right now.. just indulge me for a second) If this is his thing, you can’t go wrong in giving into him here. But running to the quickie mart, slapping a bow on a twelve pack and calling it a day isn’t exactly romance, if you’re pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down. or get him into creating his own with Micro Brewery Kits. Still not exactly romance, but at least you’re trying to harness the chi of his fascination with hops.
Music – Here’s where you can get uber-creative, if you ask me. Sure, you can get him a few CDs of his favorite music, but if you’re looking to give the gift of romance, here, because it is, well, Valentine’s Day and all, perhaps you can sneak a romantic CD with a choice piece of lingerie for yourself and call it “date-in-a-box” or something. The gift that keeps on givin’. For you both!

Whoa. Is anyone else getting the heebie-jeebies from saying ‘romance’ and ‘PBS’ in the same sentence? Anyone else equate PBS to Sesame Street like I do? {shudder}
Anyway.. Seal won’t be the only one appearing on PBS. Yanni’s new fantastic four will be appearing as well.
I’m sure you heard about the 300-ish mommy-bloggers who attended the Blissdom Conference went bananas experienced Yanni Voices first hand? Use search.twitter.com for the term “#voices” and be prepared to giggle. A lot. Or be uber-jealous. Or drool. Whatever.
