This obviously wasn’t my first trip to Disney. Before the Mom Bloggers Mixer, I’d been twice before, both as a child. My husband was told he went as a baby but, of course, he doesn’t remember going, so, in essence, this was his “first”time, as well as five of our six children (Baby Dude went with me in May). Because it was most of my family’s first time, I knew it was going to be special. But I went ahead and made it an even more memorable experience – I made it a secret.
If I hadn’t said it before, this trip was a surprise.
Sure, they knew we were going somewhere for Thanksgiving week, but they didn’t know exactly where. Once we entered Orlando, they had assumed we were going to Universal again. Until we pulled up, turned the corner at a stop light and they saw this…

That Sunday the 22nd, we began a vacation that we will all remember for the rest of our lives, regardless of first, second or fourth visit.
There is so much more to share about our trip, but for now, I’m busy, buried to my eyeballs in laundry, unpacking, and organizing pictures and videos chock-filled with memories to last a lifetime.
(Not to mention caffeine, yo. A girl’s gotta have help.)
