My sweet Baby Dude found a wayward marker, and began coloring the back of an envelope he pulled off my desk. He sat happily scrawling while I continued writing or chatting or whatever it was I was doing at the time.
I hadn’t noticed he had gotten up and disappeared. It was a good couple of minutes before I heard “Oh, no!”
I knew immediately.
He colored the wall next to him (you can see the envelope in the right corner)
He then stood and colored around the corner, too.
Deciding that wasn’t enough, he found the hall closet and decided it was in need of a little sprucing.
He colored our freshly painted front door, too.
He did one heck of a number on the glass door as well.
I turned to face him, and it appears he made for a tasty canvas as well.
I thought it was over. I thought that was all. But my daughter, then noticed, there was one more place. And it was shocking.
Me.
That’s my left elbow. He drew on me, too. And I had no freakin’ idea. {smacks head}
