My oldest son had an important task this weekend. He was the camera-holder while I held Baby V and the diaper bag. He took his job quite seriously, and I could see how eager he was to use it himself. He’s always been interested in the camera, just a little itchy on his trigger finger.
The following pictures are what happens when you tell your trigger-happy twelve year old son he can take some “if he wants” since he’s holding your camera. It results in him getting snap-happy, and apparently trees, light-poles and random people are verrrrrrry interesting subject matter.
Upon opening the folder from the memory card on my computer and sifting through the photographs taken, we could not stop laughing. All I kept hearing in my head was that scene from Brother Bear when the two moose played “I Spy” and their answer was always, “Tree.”
Take this first picture, for instance. I spy… Aquatica!?
I spy Aquatica now?
How about now?
I spy……
Now?
Annnnnnnnnd no.
I spy…
….
I think the funniest part about it is, as I was clicking through, I got to the last picture which is one *I* took. I was going to use it as the ‘Here’s how you REALLY do it” picture, showin’ him how it’s done. Until we clicked on it to enlarge it, and we busted out laughing even harder.
“Yeah, that’s how you do it, mom, eh?”
At least I know where he gets it from.
