While away at Type-A, I couldn’t help but notice the shoes my friends were wearing. I wasn’t seeing them in uncomfortable heels at all. In fact, most of what I saw were stylish, comfortable options, like my favorite Sanuks (made from yoga mats). I noticed people went for comfort and quality, and, as a result, attendees were free to do a lot more walking and enjoying of festivities without aching feet. As much as I love my Sanuks, I had an eye for a couple TOMS shoes I saw friends wearing.
I’ve heard about TOMS many times before (heck, I have a longtime advertiser for a good TOMS coupon on my sidebar), but I hadn’t really done any research myself about it. That is, until now. I came home to check ’em out, learn more about the TOMS company, and I genuinely liked what I saw.
I’m pretty impressed by the TOMS One for One movement. TOMS will match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. Dude!! That’s amazing, and such a moving gesture. I love companies with a mission!
Upon further inspection, I found this infographic, and decided to share this with you, to give you an idea of how TOMS is setting out to help the world.

Do you own a pair of TOMS shoes? I’m looking for a few recommendations before I decide to purchase my first pair.
