This is what happens when you leave your toddler alone with a jar of baby food you thought wasn’t within her grasp to answer the phone…
She decides to handle ‘business herself.’ But hey, at least she wants to share! 🙂
Lessons learned from this? (for those of you with baby girls for the first time *AHEM STEPH*, write this down. Girls are WAY different than boys in the ‘mess factor’)
- Take her shirt off before feeding her. Every time. This was the first of many times she destroyed the cutest outfit possible. You thought boys were messy. Think again. Girls and their cute outfits, pink, purple, nuh uh. Enjoy it’s first wearing – never gonna look like that again – ever.
- Have her eat in the kitchen, or over a tarp. See #1
- Magic clean erasers are your friend. Embrace your friend. They save your bacon.
- Do not, under any circumstances, think she doesn’t have magical superpowers and can’t reach things. She’s like the guy from Fantastic Four. I swear. Which would explain how she’s able to make messes in one room while being in another. Either that or there are ghosts (but that’s another story)..
Can you relate? Tell me your ‘messy girl’ story!
