Visit Me!
You’ve seen me talk about The One Dollar Give before. Yesterday I had the chance to talk about Homes for Our Troops as their feature charity of the day over there. So if you aren’t too busy with your pre-holiday festivities, even if you aren’t participating in the One Dollar Give already, come visit me over here, and donate a spare buck or two in support of wounded troops. I thank you in advance!
And if you’re so inclined and have a little time, I’m over here talking about surviving my children’s extra-curricular activities.
My Visit!
Only my family can make a supposed 8-hour trip into a 12-hour ordeal, spending almost 2 hours switching car seats about the van like we were playing chess. In the end, it was my toddler who got checkmate, and kicked me into submission.
Seven hours it took us to get out of Louisiana!
I am going to cherish every waking moment we have here, happy to not be back in the car, packed to the hilt with Christmas, and luggage, and anything else we could’ve stuffed inside that Sienna.
I will say, though, that with each day that passes, I love my minivan more and more. I am so spectacularly happy at how much footroom you have, regardless of position in the car, as well as cargo space. So my brief stint sitting in the middle row with my kids wasn’t as uncomfortable as it might’ve been had we have had another vehicle. Yay for my minivan!
Who are you planning on visiting, or are you being visited? Whichever it is, I hope your travels are safe, are much less eventful than ours were, and I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas (if you celebrate) and a Happy Holiday!
