When dressing my children, I go for adorableness, but specifically aim for durability. We save our children’s clothing to pass down from child to child. All of the younger children have taken pride to wear their older siblings clothing, and it makes my heart sing to see baby after baby, child after child, rewearing clothing from their brother or sister.
OshKosh B’gosh is a brand that’s been around forever, and I happily purchased my kindergartner some lovely Valentine’s shirts from their online store last week (shown above). I did my best to plan for all kinds of weather, considering it was 39 last Monday, and by Friday it was almost 70. Heh.
And, because it’s Valentine’s Day, I had to accessorize. (She loves these. She wants to wear these with everyfreakinthing. Clearly I need to get her more “sparkly jewels.”)
Their stuff is so well made, so classic, so timeless. Look at that stitching and embroidery. Adorable.
She had no trouble whatsoever modeling her new attire for this post. She’s not shy in front of the camera. Nuh uh.
Could you just die from that smile? Gah! I had to add the heart bokeh for effect.
In perusing their site, I saw SO many things I want to get, once we go through their clothing in the next month to prepare for Spring (which might already be here after a 70-ish weekend).

Cute, right? Cargo shorts for boys are my FAVE. They always have the most, um, UNIQUE things they cram into those pockets. It’s like Christmas when doing their laundry.
