While traveling to LA, I saw an amazing amount of folks traveling for the holidays, with suitcases, laptops, cameras, and kids in tow. Lots of gadgets were out navigating tickets, texts, and plans on smartphones, but it made me smile to see the kids happily enjoying their travels by tucking away a little quiet time in the airport watching their favorites on Netflix. Everywhere I turned, I heard holiday music and ho-ho-ho’s from these screens, kids getting into the spirit while their parents make their plans and choreograph departures and arrivals.
