|We spent 52 weeks in 2013 celebrating what made us happy, and it WAS a fantastic year. Let’s make 2014 the year where we really truly focus on surrounding ourselves with only joy and happiness all year round, every month, every week, every day. Tell me, what makes you happy? What is it that you do that you can’t get enough of? What makes your soul shine, your eyes beam, and your insides sparkle?
Happiness is so very many things for me, and every Wednesday I plan on sharing my answer here with you, on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. You can join us and follow along by using the hashtag #happinessis on Twitter and Instagram.
I can’t believe this year is almost over. Week 40 last week smacked me in the mouth, but wasn’t it just yesterday? Now we’re at week 41 and I can’t even believe October is halfway over. Didn’t it just start yesterday, too?
I was supposed to go on a super big fantastical trip this week, and my double ear infection ruined that plan for me (no flying). I could sit around, moping about it, longing for the masterful sea air, the delicious beach, and the warm sun. Instead, I will focus that attention on healing and getting rid of this illness once and for all. Besides, other than ear pain and coughing, there’s a whole lotta happy happening around here lately. I can’t resist seeing the sunshine through the rain, y’know?
Happiness is sunshine and dog walks with my Baby V. (And pig tails and frilly tutu skirts, OMG)
Happiness is crazy big hats at Target.
Happiness is brother’s sandwiches. He makes them reeeeeal tasty. (Look at V, ready to climb her sister for one lol)
Happiness is buffalo chicken breast, yessssss.
Happiness is… our daily walks to school, when the sun is low and the shadows are long. Baby Sis likes to walk so close, that our shadows join, and suddenly I have a “turtle shell butt.” They think it’s HILARIOUS to have this turtle badonkadonk wagging behind me on my shadow. They giggle EVERY TIME.
Happiness is… dad’s chili. Baby V gives it two thumbs up.
