Jurassic World Dino Eggs Crispy Rice Treats
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom premieres June 21st, and we are SO EXCITED! In honor of the movie, we decided to get a little funky in the kitchen and make these Jurassic World Dino Eggs Crispy Rice Treats and party kid-style!
We’re having a blast this summer keeping cool and making no-bake treats, like our Nutella Cookie Dough Rice Krispies Treats. (I apologize in advance for showing you that deliciousness. #sorrynotsorry)
These were ABSOLUTELY warranted. I mean, Chris Pratt + sweet treats with chocolate. Chris Pratt and chocolate, can I get an amen? Can you imagine them together? I THINK SO.
Getchyo ingredients ready, friends. Time to get yo’ Jurassic World Dino Eggs on!
Feel free to let the kids help and everything, too. This is a kid-safe no-bake recipe after all!
In a medium-sized pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Remove from heat and add to your rice cereal. Fold until cereal and marshmallow mixture are thoroughly combined and is sticky enough to be molded.
Mold the cereal treats into egg shapes, about two inches in length and one inch width (at its thickest part). Place carefully on your lined baking sheet.
Place each of your candy melts in microwave safe bowls to be melted separately. For each bowl, add one teaspoon of coconut oil. Microwave them in 30-second intervals or until completely melted. Pour melted white candy in a larger bowl. Then, pour the melted blue candy. Using a spoon, carefully fold the two colors into one another to create a marbled look.
With the help of a fork, dip each of your egg-shaped cereal treats into the melted candy and place back onto your lined baking sheet.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, and enjoy!
Are these not the funnest things ever?
