This gorgeously fluffy slime recipe is an incredibly fun one to play with! An easy slime recipe to make! Fun for both boys and girls of all ages, although smaller children require supervision when creating of course. This fluffy slime recipe is fun to children to mix, squish, stretch, knead, and more!
Easy Fluffy Slime Recipe
For this easy fluffy slime recipe , we used white school glue that we buy by the gallon so we always have it on hand for our slime making.
Fluffy Slime Recipe with No Borax
This is a borax-free slime recipe, too! Safe for kids, this simple fluffy slime recipe uses Liquid Starch (not spray starch, mind you, they are two different products) and shaving cream (this makes it fluffy). We keep large bottles of Liquid Starch on hand just like the big bottle of glue – for rainy days or any day to make slime! 🙂
DIY Fluffy Slime Recipe
Keep in mind when making slime that not all slime recipes are the same! By using shaving cream, you can make your slime recipe fluffy and more fun to manipulate!
Fun and Easy Fluffy Slime Recipe
There’s something to be said for a slime creation that can ooze from your children’s fingers yet still be fluffy at the same time. A slime concoction that can stretch and bubble yet still squish with fluff. This is that kind of recipe! Yeah!
How to Make Fluffy Slime
To make this Fluffy Slime recipe, you will need:
- White school glue
- Liquid Starch
- Shaving cream
- Food coloring (Wilton brand is preferred as it gives you the brightest colors)
- Plastic containers and spoons (one of each) for each color
- (Optional – glitter)
You’ll need a plastic container and spoon for each color you mix. (I like using Glad containers myself.) I find metal spoons work best (and they come clean easily).
Making Fluffy Slime
In your desired container, mix about two or so cups of your white glue. Know that this isn’t an exact science, but it’s a lot like science. Or baking. Think of it as a recipe where you have to add a little dash of this or that to make it just right!
Carefully spray shaving cream into the bowl, about one cup to start off with. Mix well and add more shaving cream little by little, but do not go over the amount of glue that you have in your container or it’ll become too hard.
From here, divide up your slime evenly into different containers (if you want more than one color to play with). Once divided, add your first food coloring into the mixture, about 2-3 drops, and blend each color until well combined.
Now, add in 2-3 tablespoons of Liquid Starch into each container of colored glue/shaving cream mixture. As you begin to stir you will notice it begin to form immediately – great! Stir, stir, stir! Get it good and gloppy and take it out of your container to knead in your hands before you set aside to work on your next color. Repeat the same steps with a different color until you’ve done as many colors as you planned for… and then… PLAY!
Stretch, knead, press, squish to your heart’s content!
