Today was a rough one, folks. As much as we looked forward to the Labor Day holiday weekend, we knew after three days of remembering how it felt to sleep in, getting up for school would suck.
And oh, did it ever suck.
Thankfully, we planned accordingly for this week’s menu, and scheduled dinners to help facilitate awesome school lunches for the week. Woo!
Day 5 was a good day. The kids really enjoyed the fancy bread I used for their sandwiches, giving a typical sandwich a little oomph. My daughter loved her beef stroganoff sandwich so much, she chose to have it again today instead of chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. Whoa.
The boys, though, were all over the chicken quesadillas. Bring it on!
Even though Baby Sis killed her dinner plate the night before, she’s been really enjoying the special Nutella sandwiches we’ve been preparing for her, and opted to go with it once more. I’m not worried about her choosing Nutella lately, she’ll get bored with it soon enough, I’m sure.
We’re gearing up to go have lunch with our kindergartner soon. I’m going to pack Baby Dude something yummy and I’ll share that on Day 6’s post!
What did you pack your kids for lunch today?
