If you’re looking for a fresh new way to showcase an old favorite, check out these ridiculously delicious and easy Strawberry Shortcake Croissants! Easy to prepare, serve, and even better to enjoy!
Easy Strawberry Shortcake Croissants
This is something special, friends. Sure, strawberry shortcake tastes pretty spectacular as it’s normally served with a spongy pound cake, but what if we kicked things up a notch? What if we combined it with one of the world’s most coveted pastries and stuffed our face with freshly made whipped cream, ripe strawberries, and lusciously flaky croissants? I mean, can you EVEN? These strawberry shortcake croissants are decadent and superb!
Simple Strawberry Shortcake Croissants
You can easily whip a batch of this sumptuous homemade whipped cream and have it on hand to prepare these strawberry shortcake croissants for yourself at any time! Freshly slicing the strawberries and croissants in half, you can either use a decorative tip on an icing bag or just use a butter knife! It doesn’t have to be pretty to be tasty!
Strawberry Shortcake Croissants with Homemade Whipped Cream
The homemade whipped cream really seals the deal here, friends. Light and airy, pairing perfectly with the buttery crumbliness of the croissant. I truly feel using the croissant here as opposed to the pound cake only elevates the flavor profile in this recipe. It isn’t overly sweet. It actually helps tone down the sweetness from the fruit and whipped cream, reigning it all in nicely.
The best part about this recipe (as if EATING IT wasn’t the best part already lol) – you can easily make them with smaller croissants! By using mini croissants, you can make WONDERFUL looking appetizers or treats, especially for the holidays!

Cream cheese (optional, but a delicious addition!)
Fresh strawberries
Bakery fresh croissants (big or small)
A good sharp knife (we have this knife set and love it!)

Add your heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar into a bowl and blend well until peaks form.
Add in your vanilla extract and beat or whip until well combined.
Cut your croissants in half. Slice your strawberries.
Fill a piping bag with a frosting tip (if you wish for your whipped cream to be decorative) and pipe the whipped cream onto one sliced side of the croissant.
Add sliced strawberries to the top of the whipped cream, fanning them out evenly across, and top with the other side of the croissant. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

Hiya! I would add it in with the whipped cream or perhaps a layer on the croissants before the whip?
