Chicken Fajita Queso Dip
I don’t know about you, but when football season comes around, I’m allll about the appetizers. I subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV. We love football and watch it every week. Sundays are football days and we usually make a ton of appetizers for our big family (and friends) to enjoy, like Spinach Artichoke Dip and Spinach Balls. But this Chicken Fajita Queso Dip elevates Football Sundays to a whole new level! Woot!
Easy Chicken Fajita Queso Dip Recipe
Buffalo chicken wings and football always go hand in hand. If the corners of my mouth aren’t littered with wing sauce dipped in ranch, it isn’t football season. I didn’t realize it until we made this easy Chicken Fajita Queso Dip recipe that an awful lot of our appetizers we make for Football Sundays have some sort of chicken involved. I don’t know about you, but this is A-OK with me! 🙂
Chicken Fajita Queso Dip Recipe for Entertaining
For this recipe, we marinated the chicken beforehand in the fajita seasoning, but this recipe was truly born with a need to repurpose some chicken fajitas we’d already eaten for dinner a few nights prior. Can you believe that? For real, though! I wanted to do something different with the leftover chicken fajitas initially, and man am I ever so glad I decided to do this! This Chicken Fajita Queso Dip is incredible! You never know what’ll happen when you experiment, and I’m so excited I did with this recipe!
Simple Chicken Fajita Queso Dip Recipe
The key to a really good cheese dip like this one is the usage of multiple types of cheese within the recipe. I love blends and blending my own for creations like these! Most of my cheese dips have cream cheese as a base, because of the incredible creaminess that cream cheese gives you, but there’s always a few more varieties added the mix. Using a shredded cheddar jack blend here in this recipe makes this Chicken Fajita Queso Dip truly incredible!
Cheesy Chicken Fajita Queso Dip
Cheese is my spirit animal. I worship at the altar of Gouda. I kid you not, I could eat cheese all day everyday and be splendidly happy with my life. Cheese is life for me, and making an ooey-gooey easy cheesy recipe like this super-de-duper cheesy Chicken Fajita Queso Dip gives me daydreams of cheese pulls and delicious mouthfuls of crunchy tortillas topped with melty cheese goodness. Homemade Chicken Fajita Queso Dip
I’m such a sucker for homemade dips, aren’t you? There’s something about adding a dash of this or a little of that to really make it your own. This homemade Chicken Fajita Queso Dip is that kind of appetizer recipe, one that you can truly make, try, and add to if need be. Wanna make it speecy spicy? Add a bit of diced jalapeños for a little kick! Make it pepperier with fresh ground black pepper! Or a tiny dash of chili powder! I love this recipe as it is, but there’s definitely room for you to spice it up if you’d like and make it your own!
Easy Chicken Fajita Queso Dip
I don’t know about you, but I like my recipes easy. Especially during the week when the kids have school, we have work, and extra-curriculars are beating down on us, easy is what’s on the menu. Easy meals and recipes though might still need a little planning to be ultimately successful, such as this recipe. Marinating the chicken ahead of time can be done for about an hour, but for ultimate taste, my suggestion is to marinate the night before. You’ll love the extra fajita flavor!

I love bringing appetizers or food to my friends as a thank you for the invitation, and this is one recipe where you’ll be getting the thank you’s right back!
