This week has been an amazing week. Amazing, as in, each day was filled with something monumentally awesome – whether it be the park, eating out, my husband’s promotion, or seeing first hand how much weight I’ve lost, along with playing outside, taking walks, and tickle wars, each day was chock-filled with amazing moments.
I have to tell you, I’m having a hard time imagining my five-year-old attending Kindergarten this year. So much so, I haven’t even enrolled him yet! I am really torn about it, I’ve heard more bad stories than good at the school he’s supposed to attend. I tell you one thing, if I don’t get the warm and fuzzy feeling when I grill err interrogate I mean interview the principal and vice-principal, I’m out of there.
Figure out the school situation:
- Sit down with principal and vice-principal. If it works out:
Enroll him.
If it doesn’t work out, interview another principal and vice-principal and neighboring school. If it works out:
Enroll him.If it doesn’t work out:
Figure out what it’s gonna take to home school him. (Cuz yeah, that’s how I roll. We’re only here 2 more years, and if they’re not going to be cool with how I want my kid taught, I’m doing it my freakin’ self.)Not freak out by any of the above. (FAIL)
Continue preparations for school shopping (OMG 10 days – next friday!)√
Grocery shopping/coupons/list √√√
Did I mention not freaking out about my son starting school? Oh yeah, I did… (Again, FAIL)
Water our new grass daily (that is, if rain doesn’t do it for me)√√√
A few juicy posts √√√
Learn more about my camera and blog about it
Post about fashion/shopping deals and steals
Pool (while I still can)
Take walks, if the weather permits
Park!! √Staying on my diet all week long!* √√√√√
Work out at least 30-60 minutes everyday!* √√√√√*Things have been crazy and I’ve been having an off week, without working out first thing in the morning, or having to eat out more than I’d like. Back on the wagon this week, dangit!
Today’s motivation –one day at a time! I talk about that every Tuesday, starting slow, small, not going overboard right away (see below), but this week I’m referring to everything this week. If you’re beginning to work out and diet, don’t work too hard and feel pain, or starve yourself and want to eat everything in sight. The idea is to moderate what it is you’re doing, and change your course if need be. No need to jump right into something, head over heels, and not know how you’re going to land. Slowly, be patient, take it one step at a time, one day at a time, okay?

Would you like to join us this week for To-Do Tuesday? Start with just a few things. Don’t over-do it your first couple of times. You’ll grow to become a list-a-holic later, start small now, though, k?
Just so you know, you can join us at anytime, it doesn’t have to be on Tuesdays – the list will go up every Tuesday for you to link to, but you can make your list and link to us at any point in the week!
Remember, with “To-Do Tuesday“, we’re attacking our to-do lists each week, blogging about our lists and what we’ve got going on, and sharing it with each other to help keep each other accountable. Everyone should come back here to link up in the Mister Linky as the central “To-Do Tuesday Hub” so we can visit who’s participating and offer encouragement to each other throughout the week. Don’t forget to add the “To-Do Tuesday” button to your post, linking back to this post!
Let’s continue to cross items off our list as we go and help support each other in completing our lists! Don’t forget my useful HTML tutorial on how to effectively “cross-out” or √ “check off” your items on your to-do list!
Joining us? We’re using a new linky alternative called MckLinky! Please add your link below (to your To Do Tuesday post, and not the main page of your blog)
